Welcome to my commissions page!
Here, you'll find all the information you need to know about my services!Services, styles and terms of service are subject to change, so please always make sure to read everything before commissioning me!
The process
A commission may take from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on priority in the queue, complexity of the piece, speed of communication between us, and my own life circumstances.I can work with up to 2 clients at the same time. I like updating my clients once for each step of the process, more or less once a week, these are your opportunities to request for changes! They're usually free, depending on their scale, so please don't feel afraid to ask for them!However, please be aware that I do work with revision fees (which you'll be notified of before I make the change). | Onboarding | Currently, I work with limited slots available only for a week. Note that it's not first come first serve and I'll choose the projects that best match my expertise, availability and personal preferences. |
| Strategy | This is the part where we'll talk the most! We'll discuss all details about your project and how to execute it the best we can. It's also when we'll discuss our contract terms, payment options and any other doubts any of us may have. |
| Drafts | Once the contract is signed and payment received by me, I'll start our project by researching references and creating up to 5 quick sketches representing the routes our project could take from here, to be chosen by you of course. |
| Sketching | Once our winner composition is decided, I'll start the final sketch. It's still a rough version of our illustration, but we do start to see the defining characteristics of our character, such as hair, body type, clothes, etc. |
| Lineart | Here I'll start defining the lines and details that will go into the final piece. Pretty self-explanatory! |
| Colors | This is the time we'll be choosing our colors carefully. I'll specifically ask you for extra attention with your feedback here as I take great importance in getting the colors right! |
| Shading | We're almost done already! Now I just need to add lighting to our illustration and make it look almost realistic, in stylistic terms of course! |
| Final delivery | Once the final payment is done (if any), you should be receiving your final files through your preferred method (email, discord dms or VGen/ Artistree)! Note that there is no physical product. |

(Some of these steps may be skipped depending on the style of commission. You'll receive a wip for each stage regardless of how many of them there are.)

Terms of Service
General Terms
✦ I have the right to reject any order for any reason.✦ Payments are made through Artistree invoice, VGen or paypal invoice in USD. For brazilian buyers, payment can be done through pix, bank transfer or PicPay in BRL.✦ Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% after lineart approval. The options depend on the final price for the commission, as cheaper commissions are to be paid 100% upfront.✦ Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.✦ There is a three-day period for payment to be received after it is requested by the artist. If no payment is received during that timeframe, the commission will be cancelled. Focus will then shift onto next commissioner in line. If any trouble occurs regarding the payment, please notify me within this three-day period.✦ The time it takes to finish your commission varies from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the circunstances, the complexity of the piece or my queue. Very complex commissions may take even longer. If needed earlier, please tell me.✦ Major revisions such as entire outfits, poses, full backgrounds, etc., will require an additional fee. Minor revisions such as small coloring mistakes, missing accessories, small bg elements, etc. will be fixed free of charge. If you request a major revision of something that was already approved before, that'll also come with an additional charge.✦ The commissioner must provide clear visual references. Text-only references are not accepted. These references can be from anywhere such as anime, games, visual novels, MMOs, fashion, mood-boards, OC-making games, etc. Commission inquiries with poor-quality references will be declined (e.g. low-res, no definable features, confusing details).
Copyright and Usage
∘ I, Mew (the artist):
✦ I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.✦ I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.✦ I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.✦ I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as in publications such as art books.
You (the customer/commissioner):
✦ You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social media. Please credit me whenever you do so, though!✦ You may NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, make prints, etc.)✦ You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.✦ You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes, unless previously discussed.✦ You may NOT commission an artwork or use any of my pieces for NFT, cryptocurrency, blockchain-related technology or Artificial Intelligence image generators purposes.
The following is considered copyright infringement:
✦ Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork commercially - means making money off it in any way not excluded from these terms,
without previously purchasing the commercial rights.✦ Claiming the artwork as your own.✦ Altering the artwork without my consent.✦ Not giving me proper credit when reposting said artwork (e.g. not linking my website, tagging me in posts, or being properly referenced untagged).✦ Removing any watermarks/signatures from WIPs or any completed illustrations.∘✦ Using the completed commission outside of it's intended usage and/or initial purpose (e.g. stating your commission as personal use only,
but using it for commercial purposes).✦ Using any of my creations in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs, cryptocurrency, future inventions in the space, or Artificial Intelligence image generators.✦ If the commissioner breaks the copyright infringement in any way,
every right they had to the drawing will be retracted and they will be blacklisted from commissioning me again.
These terms are crafted with personal commissions in mind. Specific terms will be altered according to the needs of every commission. Contact me for further details.
Cancellation and Refunds
✦ The project can be cancelled by both you and me at any time. However, there're a few rules we have to follow, in accordance to brazilian law.✦ If you cancel your order before I started it, you can get a full refund.✦ If for any reason I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund.✦ A full refund is not allowed if I've already started the work. Instead, the amount equal to the work that has already been done will be deducted from the total refund.
✦ 25% for work done up until the sketch stage
✦ 50% for work done up until the lineart stage
✦ 70% for work done up until the colors stage
✦ 100% will be kept by me if the work is complete.✦ If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself, please be patient.✦ If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point, you will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
